About Me

Who am I?

Too many times people answer the question with what they believe defines them.  “I am an accountant.”  “I am a nurse.” “I am a mother.”   These do not define who we are but rather what we do with part of our time.

Who we are can also be answered with our beliefs and our values.

So what do I believe in?

I could quote you the Crash Davis speech but not all may appreciate the subtleties. Besides those wouldn’t be my own beliefs. So let me tell you this.

I believe we are on a journey. One that is laden with obstacles and distractions. I believe that we are here not to just ‘exist’ but to grow and better ourselves into the best ‘me’ possible, that if we aren’t striving for better then we had better be unconscious. I believe there are setbacks, confusion and bad directions along the way.

I believe in love, faith and hope.

I believe that on the other side of fear we will find our greatest gifts, and strengths we could never imagine.

I believe in falling down over and over again only to get back up and do it better the next time.

I believe that "right" exists in the here and now and that doing what is right should never be a question. Nor is doing the right thing difficult.

I believe in supporting and uplifting those in our lives and those that just happen to cross our path.

I believe that the answers are inside ourselves and that there are no limits to our creativity and goodness.

I believe that anger can be positive because it ignites passion. I believe in passion. A zest for life – a love of being.

I believe in gratitude.

If that’s not what you wanted to know you can also take to heart that I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I have had countless people walk with me on my journey who have helped me become a better person and I know that there will be many many more along this road. I only hope that I can pay forward the same kindness to others.

I thank you for taking a moment to stop by and talk awhile. I hope that you take away a thought or two with you to help you along the way. And I hope you return to visit every now and then.
